Two Paths

Financing options for your roofing or exterior project

Knowing what your project will cost is the first step before exploring financing. We start with a free inspection of the exterior and attic, documented with photos and video, then hand you a written scope outlining the work and its costs. With the scope in hand you can weigh the option that suits your situation.

If your exterior was damaged by a storm or weather event, we can also assist with the insurance claim process. Insurance is separate from financing and depends on your policy and the circumstances of the damage. Rates, terms, and eligibility depend on the lender and on individual qualifications, and are subject to change. Ask about current terms when you book your inspection. We cannot guarantee approval or a specific outcome.

Primary Option

CrossCountry Mortgage HELOC

A home equity line of credit through our lending partner, available on 15 to 30 year terms, for homeowners with equity in their home to draw on.

Secondary Option

Aqua Finance

A second route for homeowners who prefer a different structure, or for whom the HELOC is not the right fit.

HELOC

HELOC financing through CrossCountry Mortgage

For homeowners with equity in their home, we offer access to HELOC financing through CrossCountry Mortgage.

A HELOC, or Home Equity Line of Credit, uses available home equity to help fund a larger expense such as a roof or exterior replacement. CrossCountry Mortgage handles qualification and approval. We facilitate the connection and provide the written project scope you need to move forward.

Approval is not guaranteed, and available rates and terms vary with individual circumstances and lender qualification.

Lender

CrossCountry Mortgage, who handle qualification and approval.

Rates

Set by the lender and based on your qualifications. Ask about current rates when you book your inspection.

Terms

15 to 30 years.

Eligible projects

Full exterior replacements, including roofing, siding, windows, and gutters.

Secondary Option

Financing through Aqua Finance

If you prefer a different structure, or the HELOC is not the right fit, ask our team about Aqua Finance during your free inspection. Rates and terms are confirmed directly with the lender.

Weather Damage

Using insurance for weather-related damage

Financing is not the only route. If your roof, siding, or another part of your exterior was damaged by a storm or weather event, your homeowners insurance may cover some or all of the replacement, depending on your policy and the circumstances of the damage.

  1. 01

    Schedule a free inspection

We assess the exterior and attic and document what we find with photos and video.

  2. 02

    Document the damage

The inspection creates a record of the exterior damage identified at the property.

  3. 03

Get help with the filing process

We assist with submitting the information your insurer needs to evaluate the claim.

  4. 04

Move forward based on the claim

Your insurance company determines coverage, approval, and payout amounts.

Insurance claims are separate from financing. We cannot guarantee that a claim will be approved, or that a particular amount will be covered.

Scope First

Start with a clear project scope

Before deciding how to pay for your roofing or exterior project, you need to understand what the project actually involves.

Our inspection process is built to give you that clarity before you move forward. We inspect the exterior and attic, document our findings with photos and video, and provide a written scope outlining the work and its costs.

If plywood replacement becomes necessary based on conditions uncovered during installation, the additional work is disclosed and approved before we proceed.

With the scope in hand you have a starting point for a conversation with:

  • CrossCountry Mortgage, if you have equity in your home to draw on.
  • Aqua Finance, if a different structure suits you better.
  • Your insurance carrier, if the damage was weather related.

FAQ

Roof financing questions

What homeowners ask most often about paying for a replacement. If yours is not here, raise it during the inspection.

Can I use a HELOC to pay for a new roof?
Yes. A HELOC uses available equity in your home and can fund an expense such as a roof replacement. We connect qualifying homeowners with CrossCountry Mortgage, which offers HELOC options on terms ranging from 15 to 30 years. Qualification, rates, and terms are determined by the lender.
What financing options do you offer?
Two paths for qualifying homeowners: HELOC financing through CrossCountry Mortgage, and financing through Aqua Finance.
Can financing be used for projects besides roofing?
Yes. The CrossCountry Mortgage HELOC option can be used for full exterior replacement projects, including roofing, siding, windows, and gutters.
Who determines whether I qualify for financing?
Qualification and approval are handled by the lender. We can facilitate the connection and provide your written project scope, but financing approval is not guaranteed.
What are the rates and terms?
The HELOC option through CrossCountry Mortgage runs on terms ranging from 15 to 30 years. Rates are set by the lender and vary with individual circumstances, so ask about current terms when you book your inspection. Aqua Finance rates and terms should be confirmed directly with that lender.
Can homeowners insurance pay for a roof replacement?
It may, depending on your policy and the cause of the damage. If your roof or exterior was damaged by a storm or another covered weather event, your insurance may cover some or all of the replacement. We can document the damage and assist with the claim filing process, but your insurer determines coverage, approval, and payout amounts.
Do I need a project estimate before applying for financing?
We begin with a free inspection and provide a written scope outlining your project and its costs. That gives you a project amount to use when you talk to a lender.
